★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vivien was an exceptional hostess and went the extra mile on absolutely everything she did. I have never seen customer service quite like this in NZ. She's a true natural at what she does and enjoys her work - and it certainly shows. Don't waste your time looking anywhere else, this is the place to stay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in August - when over for a weekend of mountain biking. The location is an absolute winner for anyone wanting to ride. Trails are all easily accessed from the door (be it via Long Mile or the carpark on Blue Lake Road).
Vivien was a great hostess - friendly, attentive, but also gave us enough space to chill and enjoy our stay. She was able to point us to good places to get dinner - and did poached eggs for breakfast just as I like them!
Definitely recommended - and we'll look forward to staying again when we next head over that way!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend booking a room at the B&B @ The Woods. First time at a B&B and the experince was amazing.The hospitality between the guest and owner was very good cause the owner Vivian would actually make breakfast every morning and then sit and chat with the guests. The room was very nice and i loved that the room had a ceiling fan, which was good after a long walk in the sun. Also the back door opened out to a small deck with a table and chairs and a beautiful view out to the garden. Breakfast was very good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing stay and service. Vivien is very knowledgeable about the area. A home away from home (with added comfort). She made us feel comfortable and she even took the time to make my husband a cake for his birthday. The location is central, and just a stones throw from the redwoods. Would definitely recommend, and we will be returning on our next trip to Rotorua.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thanks Vivien for a wonderful stay! On arrival Vivien was very welcoming and even upgraded our room! Breakfast was made for us every morning at anytime we chose. Along with great chats about our day ahead. We were fortune enough to also get a discount on the redwoods tree adventure through our stay. For the amount we definitely got what we paid for and more. If you’re looking for a home away from home this is the place for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely stay at B&B at the Redwoods.Vivien and Peter were amazing hosts and really went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, breakfast was great and the hosts were our highlight. Vivien gave us lots of tips on where to visit and make sure you also get your tickets for the redwoods from her directly so you don't have to queue. Would definitely come and stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Redwoods B&B is located in a quiet street, very close to the Redwoods and not far from the City centre. Our room was very attractive and spotlessly clean and opened onto a lovely garden. The owner, Vivien, took the time to find out what our interests were and gave us the best advice on activities that suited us. She was a charming hostess and served a delicious breakfast each morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an amazing place to stay for my partner and I. Viviene was a lovely host who we enjoyed chatting with during breakfast and any other time we saw her during the day. As soon as we got there she pulled out a map and pointed out attractions and local spots, even offering discounts and getting tickets for us on certain attractions. The room was very nice with an amazing deck out the back which caught the sunset. You can't hear the people in the room next door and it was just perfect.
