β β β β β Have been a couple of times few years ago, it was great then but unfortunately standards have dropped and still over priced. Whilst waiting for our food I noticed salt and pepper shaker were dirty and grubby so I sat there with wipes and wiped these clean (disgusting). When hot breakfast meal was served with my hot tea, the little tea pot looked like it hadnβt been washed properly for a long time, gross!

I liked that the food was hot and fresh,not sitting in a Bain marie and thrown onto your plate
More than enough sized meals and fair pricing only reason for 4stars is it can get quite busy with all the young adults so sometimes have to get takeaway because there's not enough seating

β β β β β The worse place to eat. The chinese lady at the counter was so rude, the bowls used were cracked, tables were disgusting and dirty. The hash browns were dry and steak was hard. First and last time there. Bake Haven Clendon worse place to go.

β β β β β This cafe is uninviting, esp in the winter, it is very cold, so not really good to go with babies as they have broken high chair. The food is not that good esp for the price and customer service is not very friendly. Not a cafe where u can really relax and enjoy

Had to ask the lady heaps of times to repeat what she said and I couldn't hear anything cause she was wearing a mask and there's walls up in front of their counters. Ordered steak meal. Very expensive sides. $9.50 to $6.50 for sides. Only ordered fried egg, mushroom sauce and extra toast. Didn't get much salad either? just shocking. First and last time here. The Mangere branch way better than the Clendon one. Disappointed.
