★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We purchased a mince savory and a mini quiche. Halfway through eating, a piece of plastic was discovered in each! Rather disgusting and disappointing.
We took them back and were refunded in full which was good though. Still won't be returning in the future

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brilliant range of food and drinks. Fish and chips, Chinese, burgers, steaks, chicken and chips, pies, and the usual sweet pastries.
I had the sirloin steak with mushroom, egg, chips and salad. Along with a litre of juice it came to $26.
It was just right, and I had eaten enough to be full, when my mother in law passed on some French toast. Sweet and delicious.
My sweetheart found her steak too big to finish, so it is in a doggie bag.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited patiently for the lady to serve me, she ignored me & offered the lady who had walked in 4mins after me service. Pretty APPALLING! It also says "CREAMY MUSHROOM" has the picture looking like creamy mushroom, unfortunately I was fooled I got gravy mushroom. Steak was obviously punched & stabbed well cooking cos some parts were rubber, so sad for a fresh slice. Best part ? I wouldn't spend 25bux on this BAKEHOUSE again, papakura bakehouse treats you better & has better food I'm from Auckland City. Disappointed with my trip to TE KAUWHATA ?
