Recommended.
The pies here are delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stuck in a queue of traffic? This is a good place to stop for a break in Maramarua.
Plenty of seating indoors and outside. Good selection of counter food and cooked meals as well. Would have tried the BLT if I had spotted the specials on the laminated A3 sheet behind the counter. Nicely made Long black and B&E panini (maybe a bit small for $9).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pukeko’s Nest Cafe Maramarua is the ideal little stop. I would have taken a pic of the Beef Burger but it tasted as good as it looked so ate it lol So fresh and absolutely worth stopping for ?
Hot chocolate was also amazing. Service was just superb so will be making a point of stopping again soon ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled across the Pukekos Nest on my journey home from Waihi Beach. Saw "Gourmet Burger with chips" $14. I thought, gourmet, yeah right. When It arrived at the table and I tucked in my thoughts changed. A very tasty homemade burger. Nice and juicy. I'm definitely stopping there again.
