The menu was very limited, just a few sharing plates, no mains.
We had checked the menu beforehand, it turns out prices have increased almost 100% from last year. The plates were also too small.
It’s a shame because it’s a nice venue, staff are friendly and there was a DJ.
But food was disappointing, and after all we intended to have dinner.
Edit after their reply: no hello, no sorry, no thanks, rude answer. As expected.
I don’t know and don’t care what sort of joint you are. What I do know is that any place, bargain basement or not, will offer more than 5 very small prawns in a basic sauce for $24. And no, you don’t manage a high end restaurant. Be kind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing venue, really cool vibe. Staff are great and good music choice. Food menu was excellent. Huevos rancheros was delicious. Cocktail menu is also extensive. We only went for brunch but definitely going back for dinner and cocktails!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely and intimate. Off the beaten track so it feels like a hideaway. Great staff, lovely drinks and various DJs start nice and early. They had South American music while we were there...very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ RESPONSE TO OWNER'S COMMENT: wow, it amazes me how you can just lie. We NEVER REPEATED the drink order cause the first round tasted so bad. We also weren't in a group... Also, it doesn't take much common sense to see the difference in the photos.
I came here to give my honest review as I always do. After reading the owner's responses to some other low stars reviews, I got kinda scared to be honest. But I do want to share my real experience so the community can make informed decisions.
The staff were very nice and attentive and I'm sorry I didn't have the balls to express my opinion to the staff as it wasn't really their fault.
The cocktails were nothing like the photos. Even if you say you change your menu regularly, the aesthetic should have the same quality. You will see in my photo that this was not the case. My friend and I ordered two different cocktails and they look the same but different colours. I don't judge a book by its cover but the taste was also below average. I mean for $20, I expected similar quality to caretakers. Caretakers make different cocktails for everyone, yet their aesthetic maintains the same quality.
I learnt from my lesson to not be fooled by the photos but to actually read other reviews before visiting first. I do hope that they can use the feedback to improve their business but judging from the previous responses, I don't know if they will.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went over and above. Thank you for organising the vegan version of the falafel. It was delicious. The staff were super attentive. The long iced teas we're gold. Will definitely come back and would definitely recommend.
