★ ★ ★ ★ ★ India, Mark, and their family were the most gracious and wonderful hosts at our wedding at Bangor Farm. They were incredibly supportive and organised from the very beginning, and very accommodating with the many details regarding our wedding. They were very flexible, including things like allowing our dog Merle to be present with us at the venue! The venue is incredible, and has absolutely everything you could possibly want - including decorations, furniture, and facilities like restrooms, a kitchen, and a preparation room which proved invaluable for leaving gear, getting changed, and getting touchups for hair and makeup. The grounds are beautiful, with the wonderful oak forest and the golden fields, and the ceremony lawn is just perfect. The Deer Shed is a stunning reception venue, and India and her team have put in every effort to make the most of vast space with a beautiful fireplace, chandelier, dance floor, majestic wooden bars for drinks or dessert stations, and decorations on barrels and tables. It is truly a breathtaking venue with amazing people who will make organising your wedding or function a true pleasure.

We had our wedding booked here for May 2020, expecting 200+ guests and paid the $500 deposit. Due to Covid we had to postpone our wedding and advised to pencil in an alternative date for a couple months later.
As we thought about it more (still jumping between covid levels) we decided we just wanted to be married & so chose to cancel the big wedding and have a small, intimate ceremony with only immediate family (25people).
Unfortunately, when we explained our situation to the owners of Bangor Farm and asked if we could have our deposit back, they advised in the contract it was 'non-refundable.'
We feel terrible about the situation of Covid, especially on small business like this but this really affected our big day as well. Just felt that we were hard done by in that we had to lose out on our deposit given the circumstances and would like others like us to know our story. End of the day we are happily married but this experience has left a sour taste & hope others are made aware before making their decision for their big day. Arohanui

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we first visited Bangor Farm we knew that we wanted to have our wedding there. The grounds are gorgeous, the Deer Shed is spacious while also feeling intimate and the feeling of peace we felt there was amazing. Leading up to the day India was a prompt communicator, friendly and easy to chat with. Our pre visits and wedding day went off without a hitch on their end. Everything was as previously discussed. We took advantage of the bar staff that they offered and received impeccable service there. India and Mark are excellent hosts, the two of them and their family are very friendly and easy going. There were a couple of guests who acted improperly but India and Mark took this in their stride and were firm and helpful in sorting them out. All in all, we had a delightful time at Bangor Farm and would highly recommend it for your wedding or event.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such an incredible place to get married! Mark and India are both so lovely and accomodating. There are so many stunning photography locations that one day of taking photos is not enough for me to cover all of my ideas. Another one of the many highlights for me is the beautiful horses - they make all of the photos absolutely outstanding. I can't wait to be there again.

We fell in love with Bangor Farm the minute we stepped on to the property and everything else, India and family, the horses, the variety of ceremony spots & the amount of amazing space just sealed the deal. Thank you!! You made our day wonderful! Absolutely stunning venue!
