β β β β β Went to block house bay this morning unprofessional customer service from (hong li)-shelly. I followed what internet told opening hours was so i went on time 8:30am. But i was told that i was too early i should have been coming at 9AM so i would recommend barefoot Thompson to change there time on website so people can follow rather than getting insulted by worker. I will be not dealing with them again.

β β β β β The worst experience I have ever faced from an agency in my life. They want us to be very punctual in bond and rent. whereas, when we left the house they still holding our bond money. It's been more than 2 months now after we left the house.

β β β β β Its is grave unfortunate google is not allowing us to rate zero star. I had my worst opinion ever from this agency. We were in contact with a woman named shelly aka hong li. She was literally harrassing us through out our stay at the home. Everytime she comes for inspection even after spending a whole day for cleaning by 5 persons, still she will find some comlpaints. Even after that she dont have a little bit of responsibility to return us the bond money on time. This is what she replied when we asked her for the 12th time after 1 month of the end of our contract. There is no use in arguing with me. If there is no use in arguing with her, who should we ask to? Horrible agency. Even if you are going to this agency it would be a lot better if you choose someone other than shelly. She is horrible

β β β β β As one of Shelly's (Hong Li) customers, I strongly disagree with some of the feedback. In my mind, she is a very friendly lady to our landlords and tenants and she takes very good responsibility to both landlords and tenants. As a house owner, I had been nicely asked by her to make some correct actions in my property to ensure her tenants have a good place to live, that was because she's been thinking tenants's right. Change another word, when she asked the tenants to do the right things, that was because she' been thinking landlords as well. She' been trying her best to keep the balance properly in between of the landlords and tenants. I believe that no one wants to be fussy without any reason.

They are very professional team in each aspect of dealing with your needs on buying or renting house.
Their staffs are very friendly especially Shelley aka Hong Li.
She helped to find a very clean, tidy and kind tenant for me. She is very patient to me and careful to my house. Also she had a very good communication with me and tenant.
I really appreciate her contribution to my rental property.

We had team Brian Rodrigues& Meghan Shelke. What a credit to Barfoot & Thompson they are. They were the agents for my Grandparents. They sold their house and helped them find another house. They did everything for us. They listened to my Grandparents with their wants and needs. They did not disappoint. They were very respectful to my grandparents and even took the time to explain things They came after my working hours in the evening because I couldn't take time off work. They also picked my Grandparents up and took them to see houses. (My Grandparents are 82 & 89). I cant sing their praises enough. I would highly recommend team Brian and Meghan to anyone. They know their stuff and nothing was too hard for them. Thank you so much Brian and Meghan. You made this experience as easy as possible. These guys actually genuinely care for their clients and want to provide the best service and they do. Really can't thank you enough Brian and Meghan

β β β β β I would just like to add praise to the Blockhouse Bay branch for their professionalism on managing my property in Lynfield. Sophia has looked after my rental property as if it were her own. I give her 5 star for attention to detail, being on the ball when tenants miss a rent payment and always communicating with me whenever any maintenance needs to doing big or small. I feel very blessed to have this young professional lady looking after my whare and is up to date with the new legislation. Highly recommended Sophia and the blockhouse Bay branch

β β β β β Our previous property manager Sarah was a lovely person and we never had a single issue with her. She was so lovely and friendly, also if something needed to be done she would say it in a friendly manner and we would get it done. Our owner of the house which we rented 2/748 Richardson road was also really good and that is the reason we lived there for 2 years. We have had such a disgusting service from the new property manager Sofia. She came in to do an inspection for the first time and the way she was talking with attitude was not correct. She said I needed to clean a few things not major and I said I will get it done, but she still sent us a written notice, which was pathetic. Since that time we started looking for a new place, found it and I would like to mention that the only reason why we moved out of that property after the 2 years is Sofia's behavior. Additionally, when moving out of that house she did a final inspection and charged us a massive amount for professional cleaning even after we gave her clean house from our cleaners. She said needs cleaning again as the carpet has food stains etc, even after telling her that we had the stain before we came in to move so we shouldn't actually be charged for it. Another $65 charge she mentioned for 1 bulb and shower curtain, when I called to check why is this price so high for a bulb and shower curtain, she started blaming and accusing us of how she helping with picking up rubbish, etc and how good she was in dealing with us but never explained me the charges. I then called in the office spoke to her manager, who was polite and sensible enough to explain to me that the charge was for the person who went to buy the stuff as it cost them his time etc which can be understood. I would just like to say that if you have such property managers, your rental people will leave houses very quickly and it is a waste of your money and time to give to a person who doesn't really care about customer service. She is unapologetic about her behavior, doesn't give valid reasons and keeps talking in the bush. I work in a customer service field and it is quite underrated these days. Employees like these need to understand the value of people renting property as well. We will never associate with the company as this was enough of an experience for us. Even thinking about buying our first home would not go through Barfoot and Thompson.
