Its good. Always open, good prices on everything. Something for everyone. I switched to them from a smaller pharmacy as I get regular medication for a health issue. The previous pharm. used to ping me 5 bucks for each medication..at Bargain Chemist they are free. As I get 7 different lots each time, that's quite a saving. Staff have always been polite and efficient with me.

Quite possibly the rudest pharmacy staff I’ve encountered. Getting a prescription is always an effort and they treat you as though they’re doing you a favour. Every. Single. Time. I use them as they’re convenient on my way home, but I won’t be using them again. Sad, because the people at the tills have always been friendly and polite.

Once again I was charged the wrong price. A regular occurrence here and the staff are so rude about it. Today I bought mascara and the price was $14.99 on special ticket. Scanned at $20.99. Took the special ticket back with me the second time to make sure I got the special. If you have that issue with a few items it's quite a difference!

Pros: free prescriptions. Cons: you get what you pay for. I requested my monthly repeat for a controlled medication from my doctor on Monday of this week. The doctor sent it to the chemist on Monday, but when I called the chemist on Friday they told me that they hadn't received it yet. After checking in with the doctor again, I went to the chemist in person and asked them to double check. After a bit of encouragement from me to go looking for it, they found the prescription had been sitting in their inbox since Monday. They told me they'd fill it, but said it'd take at least a half hour, so I said I'd come back. When I visited them today (Saturday), they had my prescription printed out and taped up where anyone could easily see it. They told me they weren't able to fill the prescription because it wasn't signed by the doctor. This happened previously, but the doctor always sends over a signed copy of the prescription via courier. I asked them if they'd received that yet, but after checking their recent mail they said they hadn't, and that they couldn't fill my prescription. It's entirely reasonable for them to refuse to fill the prescription without a signed copy. However I don't find it reasonable that 1) they had my prescription taped up in a place where anyone could see my personal details, 2) the prescription sat in their inbox unread for four days, and 3) they didn't call me or the doctor's office yesterday when they saw that the prescription wasn't signed. It's now a holiday weekend, I'm out of my medication, and the earliest I'm likely to be able to get it will be on Tuesday next week. I've visited this chemist for over a year, and this wasn't the first problem that I've had with them. Once this situation is resolved, I don't think that I'll be returning.

Be very mindful of your repeat prescriptions here and make sure when you get the first 1 that it says 2 repeats left. As they lost my first 1 in the never never hole of goodness knows where. Also unlike this chemist, if you've got costly prescriptions Palms bargain chemist let you use Zip to help get them out and pay them off .

Wanted to buy a pack of 12 Paracetamol priced $3.49 waited in a queue for 10 minutes watching 4-6 staff behind the counter running around heads down ignoring the queue busy doing something. Finally man in white scanned and asked for $4.50 I said but it says $3.50 there. He asked me to go to the reception, they will fix(no eye contact no smile no apology) Finally same thing happened at reception she said its $4.50 not $3.50 and went away to check the shelve and came with a $4.50 price ticket in her hands saying, see its $4.50! I asked her to come with me and showed her its $3.50 No apology? Even got told 'You got what you wanted'(different tone with attitude like shes doing a favour) and handed over the Paracetamol in my hand. Was following her that she would fix it at reception, but she started serving the next customer right away, ignoring everything! Ended up buying nothing! Its not about $1 Its about doing what is right in a right manner. I wish you guys do better and start serving customers better. A simple smile and a problem solving attitude is a good way to start.
