★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here at the end of January, it was hot so very pleased the river was close, its a great spot, the current is variable and you will find swim shoes of benefit when crossing the rocks.
Good assortment of fire pits, even some pine tree firewood in one corner if you were brave enough to tackle the pile.
We camped in one corner and there was stil a heap of room for everyone else, lots of groups came out just for the day with a bbq and a swim, so great vibes to the place.
For me the highlight was the dark skies, it was so clear you could see the fuzzy nebulosity of the Nebula in Orions sword, so a great venue for astrophotography and stargazing in general, and that will bring me back every time. Just be aware the Toilet is closed from 1 March to 31 October, the website has a different date on it
