★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Plenty of space to camp, dogs are allowed, river close by if you want to swim or dip your toes, good clean toilets. The only downside is the amount of broken glass and rubbish, definitely recomend wearing footwear as the glass is very well hidden in the sand. There are no bins here, make sure you take your rubbish away, leave the reserve clean and tidy so everyone can enjoy this spot.

Clean toilets and rubbish bins provided although I did pick up two 18ltr bags of rubbish from the surrounding bushes. Warnings around toxic algae at certain times of the year, for swimmers.
The acacia trees (wattle) are in full flower, August, and the scent is lovely.
