About Bay Blinds
History
Bay Blinds was founded in 1985 by a local family, Paul & Lyn Taylor. With local ownership being a priority, the business was acquired by Paul & Gail Christie, Directors of Santa Fe Shutters in April 2016.
Bay Blinds proudly manufacturers quality roller blinds, venetian blinds and vertical blinds in their Tauranga based factory for distribution throughout New Zealand.

β β β β β Had to wait two weeks for an appointment with a sales rep to come for a consultation and to give me a quote. The appointment was for between 10:30 and 11:00am. She didn't turn up. She didn't call either to say that she's running late or whatever the reason was.
I left home at 11:20am. My time is valuable too.
Certainly no business for Bay Blinds.

β β β β β Bay Blinds was absolutely fabulous to work with - right from that very first phone call through to the installation. Our organisation really appreciated their "can do" attitude and approach. We live on an Island - other companies were not open to coming over. Bay Blinds came over and before Chris Cooney left us - he gave me an indication of what they would cost. The next day I received the official quote which I was able to approve as it was within our budget. The blinds were made up - it took less time than we thought as we were still in Covid restrictions. Once completed Chris came back - removed our old curtains and installed the new blinds.
We love them - they do exactly what we were told they would do and they look fantastic. We have had a few people from the island come in and are considering looking into this as an option for them.

We don't even bother to get a quote from another company any more as we know they are the best value with the best quality. Their service is second to none and the friendly team are reliable, helpful and timely in all responses and turning up for measurements and installations. The service, quality of product and follow up has been fantastic. Christopher always arrives promptly to measure, full of knowledge of what could work where, and then pops promptly back to install them all. We would highly recommend Bay Blinds team to anyone :)
