★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I have been regular customers of Bays Pharmacy, we have enjoyed the service from the lovely ladies that work there, the range and the knowledgeable and helpful part time pharmacists. However, I am moved after a couple of particularly prickly experiences recently to write that we will be spending our money elsewhere from now on. No matter how stressful business is, no matter how tired you are (we know we run our own business) there is no excuse, absolutely no excuse to be dismissive, talk down to, or be rude to people who are not being rude to you!
Not only have I been on the receiving end of Mark's (the pharmacist and owner) rudeness but I have heard him speaking down to other customers, one particularly elderly, not stupid, just elderly. People are there to ask for advice, they may be in pain or suffering more than you know, and a kind word can go along way. A rude one and your customers will simply go away, as we have.
