Turns out admin wasn't done correctly and the wof was never listed. Upon pick up I asked if wof was done and was told yes, only to find it hadn't been.
When I called to complain accountability was shifted to me by the service manager, who assured me that their people do this job every day and that they have never had this type of complaint before, making my complaint impossible.
When contacted further an employee took ownership for the mistake, however the managers attitude had already severely soured the experience.
We were looking for a mechanic to become our regular as this is our first Hyundai and we wanted an accredited Hyundai mechanic, however we will be looking elsewhere.
Better customer service skills from a self-serve machine at the supermarket.
