Besides cruise ships including Princess docking at Beach Street Wharf, special cargo ships carrying timber logs also stops here.
I am at such a vantage position high up on the ship with unblocked views, which enables me take some great photos as the ship approaches the shore.
One distinct difference between this wharf and others along the shoreline is that piles of timber logs are seen here. At a distance, these logs appear like match sticks.
