Town wi-fi and council bus wi-fi totally sucks , don't plan on getting connected in this town it is not going to happen, particularly with a cruise ship in town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Industrial port, you can walk to the little town of port chalmers but will be not too much to do. Here is where you can go to different locations and destinations so make sure you organize your trips if you want to go somewhere else as no independent tours will be available outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Less windy than Dunedin city but the walking track and fishing jetty at Boiler Point were No Go areas. Still a nice afternoon bus trip to Careys Bay for a photo opportunity.
