Our Story

In late 2012 over a few Christmas wines, our founder Toni purchased $300 worth of makeup with the intention of starting a website as an evening side project. Within months the website had taken over her spare room, and her full time job as a Web Developer was taking up precious makeup-packing time. She quit her job, and jumped full time into Beauty Bliss.

 

9 years later and Beauty Bliss has grown into New Zealand’s go-to destination for the hottest beauty brands. A far cry from that little spare room, we now have a busy Wellington warehouse.

Toni is a Mum to young girls, and totally addicted to all things Beauty Bliss. Most days you'll find her organizing our next stock shipment or tinkering with the website code.

Gemma is a qualified Makeup Artist. She manages purchasing for several brands and answers your pressing beauty questions via our Live Chat.

 

Jaz

JAZ

Jaz is a qualified Graphic Designer and lover of all things creative. Jaz works on our design & marketing - from newsletters, banners and social media, through to product packaging design.

JEN

Jen has recently joined our team, bringing her experience in retail to our busy warehouse. She packs orders, receives incoming stock and answers questions via email and our Live Chat.

Community

We are incredibly grateful for our Beauty Bliss community and we always love to hear from you! We believe in listening to our customers and endeavour to seek out products that are frequently requested and trending online. We want our customers to have the power to choose what’s best for them, and are constantly working to provide the best product information we can.

 

Even though we’re an online retailer, we order testers from our suppliers and often create our own swatch images for shade comparisons. We tweak product descriptions and brand images to get colours as accurate as possible
