★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped by for dinner before our trip out of Auckland. The shop isn't very big but was able to accommodate our table of 6 as well as a few other tables.
The menu is located above the counter, separated out into the dishes. They do have a decent selection of items. I went with the Japanese curry with potato croquette since I hadn't seen it anywhere else before.
The portions were ok. A plate of curry and rice topped with the croquette. The curry was quite mild but tasty. It was quite a nice restaurant to stop by for food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our go-to place for Japanese food. Made to order and prepared in minutes, chicken, salmon and pork katsu here is top notch. Highly recommended if your in the area or passing by. If only the music was a bit louder to add to the atmosphere rather than being so quiet like a library, but nothing wrong with that. Also, if the opening hours could also be more consistent rather than have random opening times, changing, find it a bit difficult sometimes to eat here whenever we crave Bento and find out it's closed a few hours a day.
