About BestStart Kapiti Road
We are a New Zealand-owned charity with preschools, kindergarten (kindy), Montessori and early-childhood home-based services nationwide.
BestStart has over 260 early childhood centres from Whangarei to Invercargill. All our centres use the New Zealand curriculum Te WhΔriki, preparing children for their formal education at school. Our trained teachers support children to belong, thrive and achieve through the world-recognised philosophy of learning through play.

β β β β β I moved my son to this daycare at the age of 3. He had been attending another daycare in the area and I found he wasnβt getting the stability there that he needed.
Moving to Best Start was the best decision I could have made. The teachers are amazing and were so so helpful during the transition. Their communication is amazing and I can already see a huge improvement in my sons speech, physical abilities and confidence. They are fully invested in his education and give updates every 1-2 days on what has happened in the classroom to all parents.
I would recommend them to anyone looking for childcare for their over 2 year olds.
