We are a New Zealand-owned charity with preschools, kindergarten (kindy), Montessori and early-childhood home-based services nationwide.
BestStart has over 260 early childhood centres from Whangarei to Invercargill. All our centres use the New Zealand curriculum Te WhΔriki, preparing children for their formal education at school. Our trained teachers support children to belong, thrive and achieve through the world-recognised philosophy of learning through play.

β β β β β Fantastic team here - moved our child to this kindy from another because we were not happy with the leadership team. Our son had such a great time and made good friends. The team were fantastic with the kids giving them many great learning opportunities and styles and taking them on outings. So glad we moved to this centre! So flexible as well!

β β β β β My son went here and absolutely loved it! My wife and I found the staff to be lovely, genuinely friendly and highly professional. They have high standards with regards to early childhood education and address issues with an experienced, positive pro-active outlook! My son was heartbroken come time to leave for primary school! Highly recommend...!
