BestStart Totara Park is a new early learning centre just opened in Totara Park, Upper Hutt. We provide quality education and care for children aged between 3 months to 5 years old and are excited to be a part of the local community.
About BestStart Totara Park
We are a New Zealand-owned charity with preschools, kindergarten (kindy), Montessori and early-childhood home-based services nationwide.
BestStart has over 260 early childhood centres from Whangarei to Invercargill. All our centres use the New Zealand curriculum Te Whāriki, preparing children for their formal education at school. Our trained teachers support children to belong, thrive and achieve through the world-recognised philosophy of learning through play.
Our commitment to every parent ensures every child is cared for and supported in a warm, friendly and positive environment. We have excellent staff-to-child ratios, with qualified and caring teachers, quality equipment, toys and a safe and attractive learning environment.

The communication between the centre and the families is 10/10, this makes the whole process so much easier on everyone. My son adores his teachers and friends who i believe he will have life long bonds with growing up in the same community. Very thankful for best start Totara Park.
