★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place to stay! Didn’t plan on staying here long but ended up here for a week, and were not complaining! Peaceful and access to everything you need and more. Free unlimited WiFi, hot showers, washing machines and a small kitchen area for campers. The owner is lovely and very helpful, we had an issue with our campervan battery and he was quick to offer us help before we’d even asked! Free use of kayaks, paddle boats and paddle boards- beautiful going out on the water for sunset! Thank you so much for a lovely long stay! ☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hosts Evan and Shirley were as friendly and hospitable as before. A unique and special location. Various kayaks and sailing dinghies available for guests to enjoy. A good place for families to relax and unwind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful quite get away... has 6-7 small unit available, with room for about 10 campers. Which means this place never gets too crowded. Has all the amenities and the beach right on your doorstep. Highly recommend this area if you like to go and relax not too far away from shops cafes restaurants and many other beaches. 15 minutes From matakana.. need to book in peak times..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an absolute gem! A peaceful haven tucked away amongst beautiful trees a few steps from the beach. I stayed on a non powered site in a campervan and felt as though I was transported to a private tropical island.Host was most welcoming, relaxed and very helpful. Free unlimited wifi with great connection. Atmosphere and services unpretentious, I enjoyed birdsong during day and nightbirds at night. Superb value for money. This is a very special property, I would love to come back!

Amazing hosts, very friendly and easy going.
The camp is clean, toilets are clean, you have a lot of things for free like kayaks, fridge, freezer , power, BBQ, trampoline.
We have enjoyed our time and we will be back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent 2 nights as a group of 16, thoroughly enjoying our stay. We had a great time. Lovely atmosphere, nice spacious units, so peaceful, great outdoor barbecue area and right on the waters edge. Evan and Shirley were so easy to deal with. I'm sure some of the group will be back to stay too.
