Big Bake Bakery is locally owned with a staff of over 22 to cater for all your food and catering needs. We provide quality food at great prices. Everything is baked, fresh on the premises. We are dedicated bakers, coffee-makers, cake-makers offering better customer service. Big Bake Bakery is located at two convenient locations - Fraser Cove and Papamoa shopping centres, where parking is convenient and free. The Papamoa store is open 5:30 am - 4:30 pm seven days a week, and the Fraser Cove store is open 7 am - 5 pm seven days a week.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just brought a club sandwich $3.90 2 slices qcumber, very thin slice ham, and a touch of old frilly lettuce. A small sausage roll 90% pastrie and a little something that looked like sausage. But for half a.fish fillet (very small fish) was $3 I left that behind and the doggone that servered me more or less told me taketh or leave it so I did left it all on the counter and walked out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got some chips absolutely terrible half cooked and full of oil may as well have got a cup of mashed potato, also got a dim sim was as tough as old boots seemed like it had been in the warmer for the past 3 days and been stuck in the microwave. Ham sandwich was dryer than the inside of a baby powder bottle and had the smallest bit of ham In it.
Not impressed as this USED to be a good bakery. Will never be back would rather eat a homless person's old sock...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food selection is average - the sandwich selection is good but very poorly wrapped every time. The slices look about a week or more old, they are very sad looking a lot of the time. That said they do have a fresher selection of donuts and their fresh muffins are good. After 3pm they sometimes have discounted food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "Chicken and Cranberry pie" 1 Cranberry in pie . Used to love these pies filled with Cranberry sauce, but really 1 Cranberry and a dot of sauce. Won't buy from there again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over priced brought a pie hot dog and a 500ml mother $15.70 over cooked hot dog burnt on one side were it was laying on hot plate. Pie was Burt on the top only could eat half of each it was by far the worst bakery I have been to.
