★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a couch on 20th August, still have not received.
At purchase was told 8 weeks. Called approaching 8weeks and told another few weeks. So called again after not hearing anything and was advised the ship was cleared to dock on 4th November. I explained that it was frustrating and know there are delays but to please keep us in the loop.
Still heard nothing so on 10th November went in store and was told ship cleared to dock on 14th November, should have by 26th November.
I understand shipping delays however this is ridiculous and I have lost all trust in this company and find it difficult to believe anything the staff say.
The full amount was paid at time of purchase, so that money is not gaining interest in our accounts while waiting...
Will we finally have a couch after 14 weeks, who knows?
Bad customer service....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The price and the product is great! However we were mucked around with the delivery for a lot longer than what was promised
The staff member suggested in the end we contact the delivery company direct to chase our items
To which the delivery company told us they could have delivered much sooner but no paperwork was completed to release goods
It shouldn't be up to the customer to have to chase down their goods they've purchased

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolute hurrendous customer services from start to finish. Ordered a sofa from Big Save Nelson in December with a delivery date of February. February came by so we decided to ring the company to find out the exact delivery date, only to be told that it would now be the middle of march until we would recieve the sofa. The company had obviously recieved this information days or even weeks previous to our conversation however didn't feel the need to ring and inform us of the change in date. March came around and as before we rang to check the delivery date, only to be told again that the date has been put back again, it was now going to be May (nearly half a year after originally purchasing the sofa). Fast forward to May 6th... we rang the company again to finally be told that the sofa would be delivered Saturday morning. Saturday morning came and went and to no surprise still no sofa. Rang the company AGAIN to be told that it hadn't been put out for delivery and that we would have to wait until Monday. Nice of them to contact us to let us know before wasting our Saturday sat in waiting for a sofa that wasn't coming. To anyone thinking of purchasing a sofa from this company, think twice. The price might be appealing but the company is an absolute shambles!! You would be much better of paying a little bit extra rather than waiting half a year for a sofa. Lesson learnt.... AVOID BIG SAVE

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly staff, great service from them, Although its very cold in the store, they should have some heating going i feel for the staff! they looked cold, Only reason i haven't put 5 stars is i am still awaiting on my sofa that i ordered in March that was supposed to be delivered the first week of may which now wont be here until the end of june hopefully, although that is not the staff's fault, I hope next time i go in they have heater :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Liam Harvey totally agree we have had a very similar experience from the Nelson store! brought a sofa from Big Save & had a lot of defects, I contacted the store got there answer machine didn’t ring back I had to ring again, again no reply long story short horrendous problems with customer service still on going. last time I enquired about where our replacement sofa was I had to ring in yet again, & no one seem to have any idea on the matter, got told the sofa was in N.Z, & they would keep me posted on the travel, have heard nothing (that was a month ago). You would think when you buy faulty furniture (which can happen), they would be trying to please there customers, instead it’s been the the opposite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tricky driveway but good off-street parking. Helpful staff, although the woman serving us was obviously new, she found the information we were looking for. Good quality products with a variety of prices. Most stuff seemed to be flat pack so build yourself

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered headboard for bed, paid and waited four weeks for delivery, still didn’t show up, rang to ask when it’s due, and upon ringing the order hadn’t even been made, so they apologised and offered free delivery to our place, waited couple more weeks and still no delivery of headboard so I rang back, with the same person on the phone as last time they didn’t even remember the last conversation and order still hadn’t been made, asked for refund 100% not ever recommending or going back, waste of time
