★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gliding season is starting in New Zealand and I would like to recommend a beautiful B&B called BigSky where I stayed in Omarama NZ for 5 days in April 2015 for my qualification as glider pilot at Glide Omarama.
The most important about BigSky is the kindness of the owners Kay and Hank who were always joyful and it was very pleasant to start the day at their breakfast table. You can ask anything you want for breakfast, just ask the day before and it will be ready for you the next morning. As Hank works in construction business the rooms are well designed, quiet and brand new. It was a very comfortable stay and I relaxed there very well after my long day at the gliding school. It is also convenient that BigSky is only a few minutes walk to the local airfield were Omarama Glide is located. It is also only few minutes’ walk to all the restaurants, shops and bus stop of the tranquil town of Omarama.
I would recommend without hesitation and thank you very much Kay and Hank for your kind hospitality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delightful room on the A2O ride. Great hosts - we left a pair of apples in our room fridge and were met 10 miles down the trail by Kay waiting for us. Unreal customer service there! It is a fairly easy day from Lake Ohau even with the climb given the fast second half of the day. Small town with a couple of good options for food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great BnB, would definitely come back! The room and amenities were hotel quality with good wifi and plunger coffee. The owners were very friendly and welcomed you into their home, but you still had plenty of privacy. The breakfast was honestly the best we've had all trip, which is saying something. Definitely would recommend.

Highly recommend friends, relatives & company colleagues to come here. Would definitely return if i visit NZ again. NEVER NEVER STAY in Aoraki Court bcos the owner & staff are BLATANTLY RUDE RACISTS toward non-White tourists & visitors.

We would HIGHLY recommend this BnB to any one wanting a stop over or just have a chill out when fishing hunting or just touring.. Breakfast was better than most cafes & the coffee is top as well... Fresh Clean and quiet.. Good Internet and Sky/ Netflix etc
