β β β β β A group of us went to Rotoura for the day, where we visited Seva Day Spa & Relaxation and were pampered for a few hours and then onto the Secret Spot to soak our feet, while having a lovely beverage. It was good value for money and professionally organised by Greta Verhoeven. The best thing about it was that I didn't have to worry about driving or where we were going. I got to relax, sit back and enjoy the activities, scenery and conversation. Highly recommend Bike, HIke, Stay - thank you Greta!

β β β β β Greta took the Cambridge Tramping Club to Whakatane so they could walk from Whakatane to Ohope then back again in a loop. For those of us not so fit, we went for a long walk along the beach and explored some of the route.

β β β β β What a great day out yesterday in Taupo. Greta, our hostess was wonderful, very customer-focused ensuring everyone had an amazing fun-packed day. We got to enjoy Aratiatia Dam's daily opening of the flood gates, Lava Glass, a picnic lunch by Lake Taupo, The Honey Shoppe, Wairekei Terraces and lastly a long soak in the hot pools. Will definitely be doing another tour soon!

β β β β β We are just completing a wonderful Southland and Stewart island adventure with our wonderful Gretta. A great no hassel holiday in great weather and we have enjoyed the many extras Gretta has added to our trip.The best and most relaxing trip Eric and I have ever had and we have travelled heaps. Highly recommended for safe and well informed travel. Definitely 5 star plus as a small tour guide.

Firstly Greta is a terrific tour guide. Makes each person feel so special.
She comes up with alternatives if needed.
Six of us travelled in a van {Greta is an excellent driver] and our accommodation was comfortable and spacious and we felt safe in Covid times keeping in our bubble.
We were most fortunate to have glorious weather warm and blue skies through out apart from fog early am in Dunedin.
The scenery in the south is to die for. Absolutely stunning in late summer and into Autumn.
MY aim was to see Kiwis in the wild on Stewart Island, which I did on a night tour. One Kiwi on the beach and one in the bush.
Drive to Te Anau, Milford Sound, Wanaka and then back to Dunedin was very picturesque. We saw many little gems that Greta had sourced through out the trip.
One of my best ever trips. I have travelled the world and lived in six different countries since my twenties and NZ is a beautiful place.
I recommend going on Greta's trips even if you have been there before.

β β β β β I really enjoyed the recent trip with BikeHikeStay to Southland, Otago and Stewart Island. Every day was packed with interesting places to see without being over busy and making us unduly tired. Greta is very good at catering for people's individual interests and nothing is too much trouble with her. Her driving is exemplary and I never had any cause for concern. The group of six people we had in our van was just the right size. Almost like a family group except that, although we were consulted from time to time, we never had to think about where and when to go, how to get there, the time, accommodation etc. All this is handled by Greta in a quiet, unassuming way. A treasured trip to remember. Rosemary

β β β β β Tony and Greta were both so lovely and extremely helpful. The bikes were excellent with baskets and high vis vests added for those in our party that wanted them. Greta gave us directions, advice, a map and also bottles of chilled water. Highly recommend hiring bikes from Tony and Greta!
