Even after making some changes to the initial request, they were more than happy to accommodate them. I would really recommend them for installs. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a couple of years of ducted heatpump installation by Blizzard, something stopped working. We called blizzard to get it fixed since the warranty on our quote and invoice said ‘5 years warranty on parts and labour’, no asterisks. But they simply refused to honour it and charged us saying only Daikin main system is covered for 5 years not the parts or labour. We could have pursued further to get them to honour this by going to other forums but we were in the middle of other things and didn’t want to get distracted.
It’s sad that they did this to us as we got good vibes during presales period with Jesse. Being Upper Hutt locals, we supported them and recommended them to at least two other friends’ installations. But now I’d say be careful and check with other providers. After sales is as important as presales, if not more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shaun and his crew came on time as mentioned by Blizzard team and they got to work immediately. Shaun took me through the process and kept me updated. Daniel got to work on the switchboard explaining the current state and how he was improving it. The finished work on the switchboard looks amazing :) Shauns other crew members Freddy and Kai just went about their work, cleaning up, installing. The team coordinated well.
I am very happy with the installed system, my house is warm, so far no crying windows meaning I dont have to install moisture barrier under home. Saves me money. Honestly I should have invested in wifi capabilities, just that minor regret.
I made the right choice with Blizzard. From the moment, the initial team came for quote and to Shauns crew who installed it, you guys are awesome. Highly recommend Blizzard HVAC and Electrical!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We so appreciated the excellent work of Shaun, Dobby and Kaea who worked solidly for 2 days to install our ducted heat pump system and left the areas clean and professionally finished- the vents and installs look like they have always been there and we could see their pride in their work and their persistence in resolving any challenges that arose. When we needed an additional vent in the bathroom, this was resolved very quickly with no problems.
Our one concern was that we hadn't confirmed the placement of the outdoor unit which is not where we would choose to place it- I spoke to Jordan about this and feel confident this issue will be rectified for future customers with the addition of a check sheet map with locations of all vents and units for customers to confirm before install. Overall very happy with the service- thanks team!

Painless and easy to deal with. 1 week later he arrived and went above and beyond offering to clean the filer system as well as installing the new part. Good service 5/5 would deal with Jim again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good experience with the Blizzard team and our recent ducted heatpump system. We have a small roof space which a number of other installers had said would be too small to fit a system in but Jesse was confident they could do it. He also recommended a system that would be cheaper to buy and run than some of the other installers based on the house needs. The installation team worked solidly for 9-10 hours and managed to do the whole installation in a day. You can tell all the members take pride in completing the job to a high quality aesthetic level, worked well together and were all very approachable. Highly recommend!!
