About Moore Energy Limited
WHO IS MOORE ENERGY?
Hi, I am Mike Moore. Since 2005 I have worked in the Heatpump, Refrigeration, and Ventilation industry, both in the commercial and residential sector. With extensive experience working on those “tricky jobs”, I love problem-solving, coming up with innovative solutions that work well for everyone. An accredited Fujitsu Installer and Service Agent, I have also been trained through both Mitsubishi Electric and Toshiba’s new product lines.
I am also a qualified and registered electrician with experience in new builds, renovations, and home maintenance. I am a licensed refrigerant handler and have a current first aid certificate and site safe passport.
My wife, Amber, and I are Wellington born and raised. We have made our home, with our young daughter, in Upper Hutt.

He was extremely knowledgeable on the best products for our space, responsive to our messages and arrived on time and got the job done. I had a power failure caused by a shorting heat pump and all was fixed and up and running within the hour.
So I subsequently had no hesitation in asking Moore Energy to replace my faulty security light as well, which was also done promptly.
I was happy with the charges, too. Very reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently installed a new kitchen and asked Mike to do all the related work for this, including installing all new appliances i.e. fridge, range hood, induction hobs, double oven and dishwasher. At the same time we installed Led lighting in the kitchen, family area and lounge, dining area, which involved 15 lights.
The kitchen was quite an involved process requiring repositioning of some 2 way light switches, plug sockets, installing new double sockets and complete new wiring for the eye level oven which was not previously featured in the kitchen.
Mike was very easy to communicate with, always prompt and polite, nothing was too much trouble even when we added things or changed our mind and also when coping with a tricky problem with our switch board. He did an excellent job and we would thoroughly recommend him.

His reply was prompt, price was reasonable and he was able to fit me in within a week. Since mine hadn’t been serviced I was kind of expecting there would be some upselling of new filters or extra treatments but I was pleasantly surprised that he just came in, cleaned it all, checked it all, explained things simply and told me it was all good and didn’t need anything else. I was really impressed and would definitely contact Mike again for my heat pump needs.
