★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Blue Penguin and their staff are friendly, Knowledgeable and helpful compared to any other gift shop I have visited. We travel widely and we have shopped all over the world.
It is a"one stop gift shop." Blenheim is so fortunate to have this retail store and Art gallery.
It is open 7 days a week. It has convenient parking. The stock is world class, and prices for everyone.
I particulary like their merino possum range, such a useful beautiful gift.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this shop to buy a gift for my daughter and to find a nice face cream for myself. After shopping around for about 15 minutes, the lady behind the counter suggested that it was best that my daughter and I do not touch anything, as according to her we might "leave marks" on her merchandise. This surprised me, as most of the items for sale have testers which would be difficult to test without touching. Needless to say I did not purchase anything and will never return, which is a shame because I live just down the road and had previously had a good experience with a different clerk. I would suggest visiting any of the other lovely gift shops in Blenheim where you will likely find more hospitable staff.
