★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can go inside the blue berry garden by your car and can eat blue berries while picking your own berries using the basket they provide. Then you can weigh your picks and pay when you are coming out. Entry fee 5$ per adults, 2$ per children. 13$ per kg for blue berries you pick.
There is cafe which you can enjoy delicious blueberry ice creams.(6$ each)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a blast. Got lots of berries. Takes quite a bit longer to pick blueberries compared to strawberries. Not surprising I hear you say, but just be prepared for it to take a while. The ice creams at the cafe are a generous size and yummy, particularly on a hot day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have very shocking and abusive experience at blueberry country , Ngatea Café yesterday afternoon. First of all, the lady in charge of café was not wearing mask while talking to customer which is mandatory for all business in NZ because of Covid19 Delta outbreak. Café is at full capacity with more than 60-70 people so she must have to wear mask as responsible citizen for safer community environment. After picking blueberries our 11 year daughter want to have ice cream at café so we went there and order waffle cone ice cream, we haven’t been told anything regarding wait time at order counter. After we been told from other customer regarding wait time was 40 to 45 min, we went to counter and ask very politely regarding refund because of long wait time and as we need to reach somewhere on time. The lady came from back shouted loudly front of whole crowd to my wife and told it will be 30 min wait time for refund. We were all in shock with her very abusive language. After she came outside again and told that “tell my boss that she don’t care, told us F..c.ing get out…”. We have full video of it but I can’t upload here so I have shared couple of photos only. Our little daughter was crying like anything and we left there without refund or ice cream. My daughter cried all the way back to our home and at night also can’t forget this worst experience of her life for just one ice cream scoop. Feel sorry to say that but We have faced one of the worst nz customer service at Blueberry country, Ngatea Café.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here every single year and yet this is the most disappointing experience I had so far.PYO area is so small and no ripe blueberries to pick. They seem to be reducing its pyo area each year. it used to be good but now its not. Definitely not coming back next year

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $5 for entry. $13 per kg for blueberry in 2022 Jan. Blueberry was very tasty. Frozen icecream was also good. It was a long weekend but it wasn't that busy. I got my icecream within 5 mins.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome experience, the berries are small and normal size depends, but they are so tasty! Sour and sweet depends on the tree. PYO is a great experience, but on a sunny day its too hot! Would recommend going in the morning or a cloudy day. Had the blueberry ice cream which was delicious- the best real fruit ever!! And the food was also very good!
