★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never stopping here again. Eight bucks for a revolting stale croissant and an equally stale ginger slice served by a thoroughly unfriendly woman. Other bakeries serve much better food for that price.

I asked if any of their sandwiches didn't have mayonnaise and it was like if I asked for something completely random and mind blowing difficult. Then despite a sign that said let them know about food allergies, and they'd cater for it, when i asked if they could make a sandwich without mayonnaise I had eyes rolled and a stomp out to the kitchen. Not surprisingly I told them not to worry and took my business elsewhere. Do not stop here. Go a few shops down the road to Glory Cafe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience of this place is BAD.
First, I ordered the Hawaiian burger which took about 45 minutes to come out .The staff were unfriendly, and there was nothing vegetarian apart from the toasted sandwiches. The chips were a bit stale and so salty it tasted horrible. I would NOT recommend to anyone with dietary needs, as a member of my party who is vegan ordered a soy iced coffee as they do not consume any dairy products but when the coffee came out whipped cream was on top of the whole thing, so they made a new which they put ice cream in... what.. why. When we asked if we could have a new one with NO dairy they said they would not make a new one and that there was no dairy in it whilst also saying it had ice cream in it. Do not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff here are EXTREMELY rude and when I went to order some chips the lady at the counter rolled her eyes at me constantly I do NOT recommend coming here. Also very untidy and messy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super grumpy counter staff. Even though she was wearing a mask, you could tell she had a permanent scowl. Extremely curt, and made dining here unpleasant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yummiest quiche, especially spinach and feta, otherwise the food is standard for a roadside bakery and priced accordingly. The staff are busy but accommodating, diligent in their COVID 19 responsibilities. Good place for a quick meal break passing through Ngatea.
