Welcome to Bluff Hill Bed & Breakfast in Napier
If you are visiting Napier and want to stay close to town, but away from the crowd, 
and feel you are in a lush green park, we invite you to come and stay with us.
Bluff Hill Bed & Breakfast is tucked away in the beautiful Sturm’s Gully, Bluff Hill Domain. You can hear the Tui, Woodpigeon (kereru) and the morepork (ruru) amongst the many birds.
There are also walking tracks that lead up to Bluff Hill Lookout or down to the waterfront (Ahuriri, a historic fishing village or Napier CBD) for your enjoyment.
We have two options for your stay with us:
The Cottage (renovated and opened in 2013)
The cute little cottage is in our garden and separate from our house. Although the cottage is
renovated in the 1900’s style, the amenities are a reflection of modern times. You can enjoy free WIFI, a big flat screen TV with Netflix and a vintage internet radio.
The Suite (renovated and opened in 2022)
The Suite is situated on the ground floor of our house and has a living room and a bedroom with a private bathroom. Both rooms have French doors with pool view. The suite has its own private entrance.
In the mornings we serve a European style breakfast in the main house. The house is built in 1928. The breakfast room has folding windows and amazing view on the tree tops. We have fresh homemade buns and pastries, with fruit, jams, cold meats, cheese, milk, homemade granola, orange juice etc.
Hawke’s Bay has a lot to offer. Enjoy the beautiful weather, feel the history with an Art Deco tour, go on a nice hike on Te Mata Peak with amazing views, watch the Gannets at Cape Kidnappers, relax on one of the beaches, cycle on one of the many cycle paths through Hawke’s Bay, explore new tastes at the wineries, try local food at the Farmers Market or enjoy one of the nice restaurants in Ahuriri.

Kitty was the perfect host and provided a wonderful breakfast selection including homemade breads and spreads.
An added bonus was having our own self-contained and very cute chalet.
Thank you Kitty, for making our 3 night stay so much more than we expected.
