★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible mistake! I would have known that their hourly rate is $134+GST I would never left my car to be repaired their.
I was kicking myself because I trusted reviews here, I did not ask their hourly rates and did not challenge why it takes that many hours.
I should also have asked another garage to compare the price.
Do NOT be fooled by Google reviews - I feel I was stupid to be charged over $5000 for a job could be done at less than $2500 from another garage (I asked them)
The difference - BM Workshop told they use a genuine and a new part (really?) and their staff's hourly rates $134+GST verse Another garage uses a second hand part (okay for a second hand car like mine) and their hourly rate is less than $80 & takes shorter time to complete.
Although legally they might be okay with it, people must be wise to question and compare before they feel really ripped off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. I booked my 5 series in for a service. They found some other things that needed work, but priced them then contacted me first. Car was also cleaned and groomed which wasn't expected. Great value loan vehicle too. Highly recommended.
I called in again recently as the oil warning light was on saying oil needed a top up. I expected to buy a litre over the counter and sort it out myself at home. Within a few moments they took the car, checked the readout, added the oil and gave me my keys back. Cost was virtually the same as buying a one litre oil pack. And I had called in without warning at 10 to 5pm on a weekday!!
Simply superb.
