Bollywood is the informal name given to the popular Mumbai-based Hindi language film industry in India. The name is Blend of Bombay, the old name of Mumbai and Hollywood, the center of the American film industry. years ago in 1999 we opened our doors for you in Whanganui.
After the success of our Whanganui, Gisborne and Hastings restaurants, the Bollywood Stars is again shining in Napier. Bollywood Stars offer delicious Indian food cooked in a real Tandoor (Clay Oven.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was okay, service really lets this place down. Waited a long time for someone to take our order despite there being no other tables. Then took over 1 hour for the main to be brought out. A table that arrived significantly after us had their starters and mains brought out before our food arrived. The cherry on top was when my partner found a hair in his curry.

Went around 7pm on a Friday afternoon (walk-in). Had a fair amount of other people in also.
Staff was very friendly and management throughout start to finish was absolutely amazing.
Going onto the food. The chef definitely knows what he’s doing. Great authentic Indian cuisine flavours for the curry’s. Naan was cooked to perfection and rice was nice and fluffy followed up with a cold king fisher.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mango Lassi was rotten the coconut curry was not good don't eat here if you want to live . I only ate one bite before I could taste how stale it was applied for refund on uber eats was refused. Disgusting the Naan bread was nice though

My brother ordered from here as a birthday surprise for me and the delivery guy sung me happy birthday and then shared a video of everyone at the restaurant singing me happy birthday as well. On top of that, the food was delicious! Thank you for an all round great experience ?
