β β β β β Been going here since our kids were toddlers. Making our way there shortly with our 26 & 28yr kids lol and grandkids for a nostalgic lunch. Hotdogs and chips were always the kids favourite, however everything was yummy. Family owned, real ppl, great service, community bred, hoping this best little takeaways is around for the next couple of generations. See you soon.

β β β β β Appalling.. Chips were soggy and hadn't been drained properly. Sometimes too hard to eat (not cooked long enough) Fish always falls out of the batter. Sad as I grew up just around te corner and remember it being so much better.

β β β β β Shop is family-owned, and they all cook with so much love. Food always looks and tastes beautiful, never have too wait too long for it either. Prices are great, but not as high as they should be, considering the quality of food you get tbh. Hotdogs are just THE BEST, to die for! Best I've ever tasted. Anything battered is just amazing actually, burgers are perfect, but the potatoes they peel, cut and cook fresh (daily) are just divine? wouldn't recommend anywhere else.

β β β β β My son loves the batter and sausage for their hotdogs. Also they have lovely burgers!!! I love their homestyle cut chips not the packets you buy elsewhere .many different combos available for individuals wanting to have that "hold out feed" or whanau munch.also buy their rawfish when family stay over and fry bread to go with kai from home.

β β β β β I just want to say a Huge Nga Mihi to this Amazing Takeaways who sells Beautiful Kai. Was my first time at Bonanza Bar yesterday. Ordered some
Toroi (Never tried that before) Punnet of mussels and Seafood Chowder plus a Family fish n chip pack. Everything was delicious. My new favorite spot can't wait to try the Fried Bread as they were Sold Out. Everything Tino Reka, I'm trying to con my Whanau into us going there again today ?

β β β β β Chips and raw fish were the only nicest thing I had spent $24 dollars on 2 punnets of raw fish. 5 fry bread a meal for myself which has a fish that I was enjoying next minute the batter wasn't even cooked when I got in the middle it was gooey. The fry bread tasted so oily. Like it had been put in the oil before the oil heated up. The hot dog was yum. But I think I'll only be back for chips.
