About Booksandtoys
booksandtoys started out in 2002 as a secondhand bookstore with a selection of vintage toys. We have expanded our stock range to now include new Hobby Supplies, model kits, die-cast models & tv/movie collectibles. We also stock a big range of pre-owned comics. We stock new, as-new and secondhand items.
Our website shows a small percentage of what we have in-store but it is regularly updated and new arrivals are changed at the beginning of each month. ‘Like’ us on facebook and/or use our email notification system to get regular emails of new stock in the catagories you are interested in.
We use Courier Post and Poste Haste for our deliveries nationwide & International Air for orders outside New Zealand.
Please allow 3-5 business days within New Zealand and up to 10 business days for International deliveries. All items are shipped within 24 hours of payment showing and are packed with the utmost care.

But I came for my first love - good used books - and was happy to pick up a couple of classics in good condition at a great price. I'll definitely drop by any time I am visiting Whanganui now.
