★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I use to go here but stopped and started going to Z. Today I went back, I have a company car but have a personal car as a run around on the weekend. Wanted to put $20 in the runaround, as I always do. I punched 20 on the keys and assumed it would stop but no it filled to 50 before i realised. Then the queue was sooo long with 1 person serving (on a Saturday morning!) Then to top it off that person was rude. I see nothing has changed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BP obviously wasn't prepared for the influx of travellers coming to Whanganui this long Easter weekend for the HoopNation basketball tournament. The long queues waiting to be served were slow with only one counter open sometimes then you'd have to wait again for your coffee to be made, all up, approx 40 minutes, just to buy two coffees! This was around 10am, so it wasn't a lunchtime rush or anything. Also calling in there last night, stocks of drinks and munchies were depleted. It's good we're helping the local economy but it goes both ways guys, prepare a better service for us visitors too pls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff very friendly and helpful. We've ordered two large flat white coffees, but they were too hot, and it came out with no foam, but mainly very very full which caused coffee spilled all over the car.
I know, everyone needs to learn to prepare perfect cup of coffee, so happy with what we got, but also sometimes less is more, especially with a take away coffee ☕

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, this is probably the worst example of a hot cabinet I've ever seen...ever. If it wasn't for a chicken filo, it'd actually be completely empty. Not even joking, and it's only 3pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff are great but they never cook there hot food on time always running out you would think they would learn, i go there cause it's the only place that has 98, staff wait till they run out then decide to put a new lot in.
There car wash that apparently got upgraded is always breaking down or the wheel wash doesn't know where the wheels are, stupid wheel wash scrubed my front doors 1 time??♂️??♂️ and for $25 I reckon that's a rip off.
Palmerston North has a car wash for $15 and it has more things on there with the option of touchless or soft brush

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Are we living in such a messed up time that the attendant behind the counter doesn't even actually have to speak to the customer?
That is what happened to me on Monday night whilst being served by a female attendant. The transaction was complete and from the moment I had walked through the door there was nothing but silence. Now I don't expect her to start a conversation or anything, but a simple greeting would of been nice. I don't know why I was treated that way as I was wearing a mask and I wasn't initially rude.
Until I had to call her out on her shoddy customer service.
I won't be back.
