Lyn and Peter Crawford have been operating Springvale Café since 2013. The Café and its’ team are the proud winners of several hospitality awards including Lower North Island, People’s Choice Cafe 2016 and Café of the Year 2015.
The Springvale Café team work hard to create an excellent dining experience for locals and visitors alike. They are passionate about providing the freshest and tastiest food and beverage offering in Whanganui.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered takeaway for a group that included needs for a gluten free (coeliac) and lower carb meal as well as a kid-friendly meal. The people taking orders were great at directing me to the gluten free options. The warm chicken salad was really tasty, gluten free, filling, and lower carb! Kid approved greatly of the fries in his meal. I also picked up a keto ham and cheese scone made with almond flour from the cabinet for a future mid-morning snack—also tasty and filling.
