β β β β β What this place lacks in appearance, it makes up in character and service.
Also, pays to check opening hours as it closes early and there's no 24 hour pump. Closet pump from here would be mobile Kaiapoi.

β β β β β It's a petrol station. Doesn't have to be pretty, you just need to be able to get petrol. Oh and they refill gas bottles, even 4kg ones. Perfect for campervans

β β β β β A well used, popular service station on the main road. Unfortunately, it is also very run down and tired. Also the staff could do with a refresher course on sevice. While I was there, around 15 minutes, there were two separate incidents where the staff stood there and openly argued with customers at the till. Not a good look.
