★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've had occasion to call on the services of Brokenshire and Ross in the last week or so.
First, I had a slow leak from a pipe in my garage - quick, attentive, expert service from B&R's Jack.
Second, another slow internal leak from my roof space. Same day attentive service and quickly fixed by Jonno, a credit to his trade.
All credit too to Andrew and his team - a recommended local firm which gives peace of mind to this customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brokenshire & Ross were very disappointing to try and work with. A member of their team came to look at a job we had for them, to remove and install a new vanity unit, and give us a quote. A few days later a bill arrived with an estimate (we asked for a quote) which we paid. To save a few bucks I removed the vanity myself and booked them to come and install the new one (all of which was explained over the phone before the work commenced). When the plumber arrived (a different person than the first) he said he wasn't prepared to install the vanity only do the plumbing. When I showed him the written estimate he called a builder (who was fantastic) to help him. I explained I wasn't prepared to pay more than what they had estimated as a lot of the work was already done. He called the owner (or manager of B&R) who arrived. The owner came in a foul mood, made no apologies and said the price would be close to what they had said. I explained I wasn't prepared to pay more considering they wouldn't have to remove the previous unit and wanted him to commit to his original estimate, he said could take it or leave it and told him he they could leave. Given this experience I would not recommend working with or employing this company.
