I can't believe user Landox's review at all. It is in no way representative of this place. Indeed, there is no such room he speaks of! I am at Brooker Colour Therapy right now, it is my first visit and I have stayed overnight two nights. I suffer from chronic migraines, chronic fatigue and related issues. The practitioners here were told only that I had "head problems", but using their dowsing technique uncovered every way I suffer and then a few. My theory is that it can't hurt, I also am pursuing scientific treatment but have been trying that for five years and am presently am unable to work due to illness. I can't say that Colour Therapy really works right now, but I can say that the Brookers are empathetic kind people. Their facility is very homely, with chickens and farm animals outside. Just relaxing in the treatment room away from the stresses of home is helpful in itself. My advice is to call ahead to make an appointment, as you would any service. There is facility to stay overnight but it is on the homely rustic side, not boutique hotel! Approach with an open mind.

I have been going to Brooker Colour Therapy for a number of years now and can't speak highly enough of them. They have looked after my family and extended family. They have cared for my 4 year old son since he was born (& he was born 9 weeks early). The treatments he has received have kept him off any pharmaceutical drugs his whole life. The proprietor Allan Brooker is what I call a true healer who puts the care of his patients above all else and he has a heart of gold. I could never thank him enough for what he has done for my family. His partner Roseanne and daughter Rachel who also work there are also worth their weight in gold. We are incredibly grateful for all the help Allan and his team have given our family.

I went to this establishment a little while ago to see what all the fuss in my local social group was about, and what happened there was utterly disappointing, and ultimately changed my life negatively forever. You're probably wondering how a therapeutic visit can change one's perspective of the very world they live in so greatly and completely, and that is why I have written this review, to describe the process that scarred me and still haunts my nightmares to this day. I am a 53 year old man. The visit was prompted by a female member of a social group that I frequently visit, who claimed that Brooker Colour Therapy had helped her fully recover from her chronic headaches and migraines, and as a sufferer of these same problems, I made it a priority to pay a visit to this clinic in my next annual visit to my parents in Cambridge. The wait was almost unbearable. Three months of migraines later, the day had finally arrived. I pulled up rough driveway, after a multiple hour drive, and was relieved to see the bright font and welcoming stature of this therapeutical establishment. I walked inside, and the lady at the lobby looked up once and continued to look at her computer screen blankly. I was so excited for my headaches to go away, that I didn't even mind the rudeness of the woman at the front office. I asked for an appointment, and the lady said there was one available the next day, so I scheduled it, and decided to spend the rest of the day in town with my parents. 3:30 the next day, I walked into the front room again, greeted with a quick stare from the lady at the desk, then a double-take, then upon her recognition of me, she asked me to sit in one of the chairs provided, it would only be a little while. A few minutes later, a woman walked out of a door behind the lady at the desk, no - she stumbled out of the door, and this is about when my survival instinct kicked in. My heart started beating faster and faster as the woman paid and limped out of the door, with blank, lifeless eyes, like a zombie. Me, still excited for my migraines to go away, ignored this obvious warning from god. I walked in to a barely lit room, with a single bed in the center. I scanned the room, looking for anything, but there was nothing else. I was now scared. I turned around to look for the lady at the desk, but she was nowhere to be found. The door was no longer there. A voice suddenly erupted from the bed, saying, "Get in the bed." I refused. An invisible force suddenly took over my body and forced me into the bed and laid me down. Then the force started to take off my clothes. The last thing I remember before passing out was the colored coming from an unknown source under me. Three years later, and I still don't know what happened in that room, I just remember ending up in the driveway, and the drive home. I think it's better to just not ask. To this day, I am hesitant to get into my own bed, for at night, the red light comes from underneath me to take away my will to live. Also, my butt is perpetually sore, and my headaches have gone away.
