★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst customer service. Almost $700 deducted from my bank account for a stone chip on windscreen, without informing me, despite taking excess reduction, since their zero excess option wasn’t available online. Never booking it again. Ever!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would give zero stars if I could. Worst Customer service experience I have ever had in New Zealand. No one at counter in airport despite arriving right as scheduled within office hours. We followed the instructions written on the sign on the counter to head to the office at their car lot outside. No one there. Tried phoning, no answer. Phoned the toll free number, still no joy. Waited around for 45 minutes. My husband went back to the desk inside the airport where he got told that we were late! The service person's boyfriend called him a c**t and wanted to assault him. Servicw person claimed she had been there all along and we never came up to the desk Both parties had been drinking. Avis and Budget is under the same umbrella, try to use somebody else if you can!
