★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely campsite, mostly gentle sloping rather than flat. Ford in the road is a bit tricky for vehicles and caravans with a large overhang at the rear.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Campsite / picnic spot. Pristine river although a bit tricky to get to for those with limited mobility. 5 shallow fords to cross to get here so not suitable for low vehicles, towing etc

Be VERY mindful of the cliff edge if you have children, very steep drop off.
Wasps were everywhere but never bothered me. Found more hanging around the black beach trees and the odd one in the grass.
There's a path that leads down to the river but the steps are steep. Found some nice swimming holes or you can explore the river walking on the banks.
The drive in was ok. Two small streams to cross which wasn't an issue for my van.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great site. Very quiet no one else there until Friday night. Spoilt slightly by wasps everywhere. Road in was fine for a 6.5m campervan. Fords may be a challenge in heavy rain though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot, little bit of a rugged road in. Excellent swimming in the river and a nice half-day walking loop just by the entrance. Not too busy, even at peak holiday time.
