β β β β β Beautiful Spot for lunch. Great food, great service, and very short walk to the beautiful and historic Cable Bay. I enjoyed looking at the bulls, sheep and pukeko across the road by the estuary.

β β β β β It was my worst experience in NZ, and one of the worst lunches ever!!! The food was more expensive than in other touristic places, and much worst quality. Salty, little portions. After waiting 20 minutes for a salad, i found a big piece of plastic in it. I got no apologize! (and I really ask myself about the sanitary conditions in their kitchen!) "Oh, a plastic.. shall I make you another salad? Do you have enough water?". After ordering coffee with cake, they brought the cake and 15 minutes later - the cold coffee. When we expressed our disappointment the apparently owner of the place answered in a very irritated way. So I definitely recommend avoiding this place!

β β β β β Great spot, great food, great service. Asked if we could have the loaded nachos with no bacon, the chef asked if he could try and create something for us. Turned up with a top notch off menu loaded wedges, with mushrooms, beans and great flavour. 10/10 would recommend.
