★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently had botox injections into my "masseter" muscles in my jaw, to assist with grinding my teeth and relax my clenched jaws.
This has been amazing as it has relaxed these muscles so much already - even after just a few days - I was getting really bad tension headaches and this has stopped it. It is such a relief.
I was warned that there might be a bit of bruising but this was fine, there was no bruising that I could see, and I was also warned that it can be a bit painful as the injection is a bit deeper than usual but honestly it was nothing, especially compared to the constant ache from teeth clenching (esp since I was doing it in my sleep).
Apparently this treatment is popular for making your face look slimmer and your cheekbones more pronounced. I genuinely did it for pain relief but I'm sure my face looks better in photographs already, a bit more :"feminine" and prettier, which of course is a most welcome change!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THE WORST AND MOST IRRESPONSIBLE RIP-OFF CLINIC
I first went there 2 weeks ago to treat my gummy smile with botox (a really simple and quick procedure). I was told that the botox would correct my smile in at least 80% and then I would see the full effect in 14 days.
It's been 2 weeks now and I couldn't see ANY DIFFERENCE AT ALL. Searching online about it, I found out that there are 3 muscles responsible for the smile and there is a point, called the Yonsei point, which is the junction of these muscles. The botox must be applied at this point in order to fix a gummy smile. However, the nurse applied it up to my nose and that's why the botox didn't work. Also, because this muscle alone is weaker, the treatment would last only 1-3 months instead of 4-8 months like any other botox procedure.
I went there today and the nurse who treated me told me that the muscle that she hit doesn't work in 20% of the clients, which means that she knew that was 20% chance of didn't work at all - and nobody there ever said that before. She agreed that it didn't have any result (because they take a picture before the treatment to compare) and she said the only that she could do was to recommend another clinic since she wasn't trained to apply the botox in the Yonsei point.
So, besides being unprepared to do the procedure and offering it anyway, the caci clinic didn't refund the $80 that I spent for nothing.
Incapable professionals and a disrespectful clinic. Do not go there.
ps. I read the whole contract and it doesn't say in any place that it has a chance of not working at all, so I'll look up for legal ways to sue the clinic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can highly recommend Vanessa at Caci in High St. I know I'm in caring hands with this lovely lass, she's very welcoming, friendly and an absolute delight. Vanessa is very informative on the Caci products, she's very knowledgeable and talks me through any process I'm interested in and explains in detail they why's and wherefores etc. Thankyou Vanessa you and to all the High St staff, you make it a pleasure to come and visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently visited this Clinic where i was booked in for the Hydradermabrasion cleansing Treatment. I was welcomed with a warm greeting. The staff were very friendly and well presented especially in their PPE gear due to Covid-19.
The treatment itself was good. my skin felt great... Nearly a week on and my skin still feels and looks great.
Overall good experience and would recommend this clinic. Thank you team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After googling whereabouts in Central Auckland I can get Botox done for my frown lines. Found Caci in High street, although Vanessa is not a doctor but I m fine with an experienced registered nurse :) There are no consultation fee or minimum fee charged as some clinics do. So you just pay according to how many units injected :) Vanessa is super friendly n beautiful n she does the job Well :) Great advise! No hard Sell. Nice and comfortable place n they have other services, like facial etc will go back for more :)
