They have decent cups with handles you can hold,and the staff are simply 1st class. 15/10. How times change. We recently called in for breakfast, to find the cafe was under new management, with new staff. We immediately noticed the lack of food in the cabinet that was available, and they were generally disorganised. We both decided to go with a cooked breakfast, given the ones we had previously were first class, and expecting the same to standard to be served, I can only say that we were disappointed. The coffee I had ordered was not up to standard, It tasted like it was 2days old. Generally the cafe was untidy. I sincerely hope the new owner steps up thier game, but we won't be coming back.

We ordered coffees and one of those big plate breakfasts with sausage, hash browns, and eggs plus another with French toast and fruit. The food arrived quickly and was beautifully plated. The fruit was bountiful. What impressed me most, and why I've bothered to write this review, is that the staff member heard us say we'd share both and debated how we wanted the eggs cooked--when it arrived, she'd given us a poached egg and some scrambled.

I had a medium sized bowl with two types of salad... It was so dry and tasteless that even though I was hungry I only managed to eat less than half and it was a small bowl. The roast veggies were dry and limp and tasted old as though they had been made the week before. My husband was very unhappy with his chicken vegetable pie. The coffee was average. We wish the new management well but when we pay for a lunch out we expect much better than this.
