★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a consistently reliable late night coffee and cake cafe option, Cafe Cezanne in Three Lamps end of Ponsonby is a trusted go-to.
They are very well known for their delectable home made cakes that adorn the food cabinets, so much so, that the a dilemma always arises when trying to decide on what cake to choose so it’s always an advantage to visit in small groups of 2 to 4 people so you can share!
I adore their soy latte bowls and have recently enjoyed their Black Forest chocolate gateau served with fresh whipped cream!
The staff is always so hospitable and engaging and the food options on the menu or in the cabinet, is always delicious and not to mention reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

New girl who served us looked like she didn't want to be there.
Aside from that it was a neat little spot.
