Awesome carrot cake and super friendly service from the girl on the till who was SO busy! Pizzas were great too. Perfect place for a child and dog friendly catch up!

Food is great, kids love it. My only gripe is the queue takes forever when it gets busy. GF food should be in a seperate cabinet with own utensils for serving. Staff are super friendly and the place is always clean.

Location is superb; the cafe facility reasonable however the food lets it down. The $24 dumplings (5) in miso were dry and tough which suggests they were microwave thawed / heated rather than cooked in the miso? The fish burger had small version buns, small 2"x2 fish portions with little supporting content, accompanied by 10 chips. The iced chocolate was 1/3 ice. Not a recommended eatery.

Nice cabinet food and blackboard menu. The coffee is always good. Tables are well spaced inside, and plenty of seating outside with a lovely view out over the Botanic Gardens. Staff are efficient and friendly.

Had our team Christmas lunch here and the staff were very nice. It was my first time to try the lunch menu. I had a steak and it was good and priced reasonably for a generous serving size. Great place to hangout and just see the ambience of the gardens

The only positive about this experience was the view. The lines were out the door and we assumed this must be a good reflection of the food. NOPE. The food took ages to arrive, then arrived cold, tasteless (almost mass produced slop), paid top prices and expect a plate not a bowl for my breakfast. Definitely not worth the money or time. Won't be back.

Wait in the queue to make an order for 15mins(literally only 4 customers in front of me). And wait another 25mins to get the food. $22 for Egg benedict and the poached eggs are like hard boiled.

The view on a sunny day is a stunner. That’s all that was good about this place unfortunately. I ordered the fish & chips priced at about $22 and what I got was a massive disappointment. I essentially got what appeared to be 2 battered fish from Sealords, a small basket of chips and what was advertised as a salad. I also ordered two fried eggs at $3 a pop. Salad - two small pieces of lettuce/two pieces of grated carrot and a single slice of cucumber - no dressing 2 fried eggs - egg whites partially raw It didn’t taste bad I guess, but at $25 odd dollars I would expect a far higher standard. Service was averages at best, but I guess hospo is struggling for staff so my rating doesn’t take that into consideration. If I was to go in here again, which I would be very hesitant about, it would be for a take away coffee nothing more.
