β β β β β All the food we had was amazing. The Smashed Avocado special was fresh and inspired: with Chicken Schnitzel, beetroot and mango. The kids pancakes with berries were delicious - my nearly 5-year-old often gives up on cafe pancakes , but she loved every bite! Chips were fried perfectly (crisp outside, fluffy inside, fresh oil). Will be back next time weβre passing through. (Also close to a playground if youβre looking for a stop with kids)

β β β β β Friendly service, great food! Must try their thai specialties, nothing like it in the area! ?

β β β β β Eggs tasted like water, everything else was just soaked in grease, coffee was average, over priced

β β β β β I ate here a few times recently and thought the bacon and egg pie that they make was amazing. The breakfast deal is a good little filler too. Great coffee and the choice of sitting outside and watching the world go by or reading the paper provided inside. I'll be back for the Thai food at lunchtime too!

β β β β β Friendly staff but food was pretty average. Avocado was rotten, eggs way over cooked and potato Rosti soggy in a pool of cheap cooking oil. Sent meal back because of the avo, and it returned cold with avocado that wasnβt much better than the first one. Really disappointing.

β β β β β Building and atmosphere was nothing exciting, though the balcony was cool and refreshing. Staff were friendly-ish, coffee good and B & E was good, even though staff said $12 for B & E and you get a coffee, I thought great I'll have a Mocca, then price went up to $13.
Hmmm, why say $12 then add on extra for "a coffee".
Otherwise good place for food driving through.

β β β β β Nice spot upstairs overlooking the main road through katikati. As the name implies it's on a balcony on the corner of a little shopping center.
There are only steps up that I could see so no wheelchair access I guess (they were colourful though!). They have the usual range of coffee as well as breakfast options, a lunch menu and a selection of tasty meals for dinner with plenty of sweat treats and drinks to go with.
