About Cake it Forward
Hi, I'm Bridget, owner of Cake it Forward. I'm here to make ordering your cake and learning to decorate easy and fun.
Cake it Forward started as a hobby, to switch off from a stressful corporate job, and pretty soon we had more cake than we could eat at home.
I was also trying to teach my daughter that we have enough "stuff" and there are some kids who don't have a lot. We decided Cake it Forward would be a great way to bring a little happiness to people who don't have a lot on their special day.
We were lucky to find Angel Tree, supporting families with a parent in prison, and we got in touch to find out how we could help. What started as a hobby soon turned into a business.
Today we're the proud owners of Wellington's coolest cake shop where we sell sweet treats and gifts, make beautiful wedding and celebration cakes, and host cake decorating classes and parties.
And we still donate birthday cakes to kids with a parent in prison, and support other great causes cakes each week, Check out our story on Seven Sharp.

We got the individual tasting jars for our Christmas dessert which were amazing and then I also got a birthday cake for my son for his birthday several months later.
Not only did it make my life easier not to have to do it but Bridget's cakes are the nicest tasting cakes around. I also liked the fact we got to get a design that was unique.
You will not be disappointed with a Cake it Forward cake

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bridget is the absolute queen. She is SO much fun, a great communicator and clearly an incredible cake artist who makes the most beautiful and delicious cakes I’ve ever tried!
But she has such a heart for people. Bridget donates cakes to kids in need every week and is just all round beautiful.
I could not rave enough about this extraordinary lady ❤️

We had a 3 tier cake - lemon in the 1st tier, then chocolate, and then vanilla, and then entire cake iced with white chocolate ganache - it looked beautiful! Thanks again! xx
