★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed with the staff, ordered a Black-forest continental for my wife’s birthday and they came up with Black-forest Torte. Finally they made the cake we wanted but it was totally messed and didn’t have any finishing as shown in the display. We asked for the refund bit they only give you voucher to buy their ugly cake again….

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered Spiderman cake on my sons second birthday but the cake was completely different from the picture they showed us. Also we asked for black forest filling but the cake was full of chocolate mud inside it. The decoration was also super hard to cut. No way I am going there back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rubbish customer service. Staff even doesn’t know what they are selling . Manager was very rude. We were making choice what we want to buy but manager said do it fast she wants to close the shop before 6 mins of closing time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today 27th Feb'22 at approx 1655 hrs I went to collect my order #100230166 and when reached shop I was told by one of the lady staff to stand outside the shop because they had one couple (white people) already inside the shop. I stood outside in the chilling cold with my daughter.
After 5 minutes I again reminded the store staff that I just came to collect my order, but that lady staff in an unprofessional behavior told that she is currently busy dealing customer and again in a very rude voice told me to stand outside the shop.
After sometime couple went out and I was called in the shop and while I stood in the shop they allowed 2 other white people to come at same time inside the shop and they were not told to stand and wait outside the shop.
Why this discrimination ?
Why the staff acting as RACIST towards customers ?
Why such unprofessional behavior from the staff ?
I had a very awkward and weird experience from the Cheesecake Shop Lower Hutt staff. The staff should understand that we (customers) are also taxpayers and we too help in the growth of the economy of the country New Zealand. The staff should not be acting RACIST towards a group of people. This is not what we expect from the people of NZ. We do respect the people of NZ and same respect is expected in return towards each and every community living in this country.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cake was super dry and the strawberries were old and sour I asked one of my friends who used to work there a few years ago and she confirmed that the cheesecake shop sold cakes that were at least a week or two old No wonder why their cakes are always super dry. I will never buy anything from them again and the worst thing is that the staff have terrible customer service
